TriTest - Terms of Use


Welcome to TriTest! By using this website, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions:


Introduction

  1. TriTest is a website that allows users to create and take tests. These terms of use govern your use of TriTest. By using TriTest, you agree to these terms of use.

Eligibility

  1. To use TriTest, you must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 13 years old, you may only use TriTest with the permission of your parent or legal guardian.

Creating Tests

  1. Anyone can create a test on TriTest. When you create a test, you will be given a unique Test ID and Test Secret Key. You can share your Test ID with others so that they can take your test. You should keep your Test Secret Key secret.
  2. The Test ID is used to identify your test. You can use the Test ID to share your test with others or to track the results of your test.
  3. The Test Secret Key is used to protect your test. You should keep your Test Secret Key secret so that no one else can delete your test or see your test results.
  4. You can create tests on any topic. However, your tests must not violate any laws or regulations.
  5. You must not create tests that are offensive or harmful to others.
  6. You must not create tests that are intended to deceive or mislead others.
  7. You must not create tests that are intended to spam or promote your own products or services.
  8. TriTest reserves the right to remove any test that violates these terms of use.

Test Creation

  1. Anyone can create a test without the need for login or sign up.
  2. Each test can have 1 to 40 questions, and each question can have 1 to 8 options.
  3. If more than 40 questions or 8 options are added during test creation, the excess will be lost.
  4. Test score calculation is based on the following logic (modifiable by the test creator):
    1. +1 for each correct answer
    2. 0 for unanswered questions
    3. -0.25 for each wrong answer
  5. The website allows maximum 100 candidates for a single testblock to take.

Test Types

  1. Tests can be created as public or non-public.
  2. Public tests may appear on the website's top 20 test blocks and their results will be displayed.
  3. Non-public tests and their results will not be visible on the website, but can shared using the provided link.

Test Management

  1. Created testblocks can NOT be edited.
  2. After creating a test, you will receive a 'Test ID', 'Test Secret Key', and 'Share Link'.
  3. The 'Test ID' is used to share the test, while the 'Test Secret Key' is required to delete the test or view its results.
  4. Keep the 'Test Secret Key' confidential to prevent unauthorized access to your test.
  5. Suspended tests (those have not been recently taken by any candidates) will be automatically deleted after 30 days, with prior warning if an email was provided during test creation.

Test Taking

  1. Users can take a test on any devices. But still, it is recommended to take a test on the laptop, PC or other device that supports wider size of screen.
  2. Users must enter their name (first name, last name, or nickname etc) to take a test.
  3. Only the user's name is required to start the test.
  4. Test takers are required to turn on the fullscreen mode during the test.
  5. It is forbidden to move another websites, change the browser tabs or do any other actions those can be considered cheating.
  6. To answer a question, click on one of the options. Double-clicking an option radio icon will mark the question as unanswered.
  7. During the test, two buttons will appear at the bottom of the page:
    1. 'Surrender' finishes the test with no points, displaying the result as 'Surrendered'.
    2. 'Submit' finishes the test and calculates the result, which be listed in the results page if a public test is taken.

Test Results

  1. The results of your tests are private. You can see only last 100 results of your testblock. However, if you take a public test, your results may be displayed on the TriTest website.
  2. The website allows users to view the last 50 results of any candidates who took any public tests recently.
  3. Users can see the results of their tests by entering 'Test ID' and 'Test Secret Key' at the same time from the My Test page.

Termination

  1. TriTest may terminate your access to TriTest at any time for any reason.

Disclaimer of Liability

  1. TriTest is provided on an "as is" basis. TriTest makes no warranties, express or implied, about TriTest or its content. TriTest is not responsible for any damages that you may suffer as a result of using TriTest.

Governing Law

  1. These terms of use are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Entire Agreement

  1. These terms of use constitute the entire agreement between you and TriTest regarding your use of TriTest.
